"Enter here to be and find a friend" - our foundation motto since Camp Friendship's founding in 1966. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central, VA on 730-acres, Camp Friendship offers a variety of programs for boys and girls, ages 6-16. General camp program for Juniors and Teens offers over 50 activities in which campers may customize their FUN-packed week, including sports, arts, fencing, drama, pottery, arts and crafts, photography, golf, video production, instructional and recreational swimming, mountain boarding, canoeing, tennis, and much more!

With one and two-week session options, campers may add variety to their summer with Challenge Adventure Trips including: caving, fishing, waterskiing, mountain horseback, hang gliding, kayaking, rock climbing, river rafting, canoeing and a combo trip and/or Sports Clinics which include Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, and Waterskiing.

For girls who simply love horses, the Equestrian Program with over 80 camp-owned horses is for you!

The camp features lakes for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, a Jr. Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, 80-horse equestrian center, 18-hole golf course, and gymnastic center, mountain board course, photography lab, pottery and arts studios, drama theatre, dance classrooms, riflery and archery ranges, sports fields for a wide variety of sports offerings, gymnasium for basketball, hockey and fencing, low and high ropes course, miles of Rivanna River frontage for boating, fishing and tubing.

Counselors and activity instructors are carefully selected from colleges and college graduates from the United States, and from around the world for their mature, caring attitudes and commitment to providing a positive impact on the lives of children.
