Join us for an Adventure Camp experience like no other! Cheerio Adventures specializes in camp sessions from 3 days up to 14 days of unforgettable adventures. We are a Christian based adventure camp located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the New River. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10-17. All groups consist of 8-12 participants, to maximize the adventure experience and promote strong and long lasting friendships. Our focus on helping young people learn more about themselves, strengthen self-confidence, leadership, teamwork skills, is accomplished while challenging them in a safe and fun Christian setting. All equipment is provided.
Trips take place in NC, TN, VA and WV. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, backpacking, caving, mountain biking, sailing, wind surfing and more.

Adventure Links has designed an active, engaging series of adventure activities that immerse your child in their camp experience. For Day Camp, arrive at camp each day for a new adventure including Team Challenge Course, Rock Climbing, Caving, Kayaking/Canoeing, Sailing, Mountain Biking, Outdoor Living Skills and Environmental Education. Or travel away from home for 1 or 2 weeks on an expedition to Hike, Kayak, Rock Climb, White Water Raft, Mountain Bike, and Canoe. Come explore as close as the Chesapeake and Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our goal for our programs is simple: to provide an environment where your child is content and able to immerse him/herself into the adventure experience. The outcomes achieved are numerous and may include:

WAEL celebrates 23 years of unique summer adventure camps that take your children on a journey through the National Forests of VA & WV. We are not a traditional summer camp; we are an all-outdoor, tent camping & backpacking program offering 7 day, 14 day, & 28 day trips for ages 8 to 17 with a focus on developing skills in a multitude of adventure activities. Are trips are designed so that everyone is challenged at their own level, ALL CHILDREN CAN SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISH OUR TRIPS and leave feeling more confident and proud of their success.

Whether your child is new to adventure camps (or camp in general) or has lots of experience in the outdoors we have an appropriate summer adventure for them. We provide all of the necessary equipment (backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.) for your summer adventure camp experience.

Adventure Camp activities include: rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rappelling, caving, ropes course, climbing wall, 900' zip line, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, environmental education, and many more outdoor adventure activities.

Camp Roanoke is nestled within 700 acres of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We offer a full season of residential and day camps for youth, including traditional and adventure programs. Activities include canoeing, arts & crafts, archery, nature programs, rock climbing, kayaking, caving, and much more. Camp Roanoke is a American Camp Association accredited program.
