Passages one-week day camp sessions, held on Belle Isle near downtown Richmond, help your child build confidence,self-esteem and leadership skills in a fun and challenging environment. The week is packed with fun and adventure and is only minutes from the city's skyscrapers. One week sessions of Passages include kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling, the 350-foot zip-line, and a five mile river trip.

Every day includes time for swimming, lunch, and snacks, so all a camper needs to bring is a water bottle. Our camp guarantees a four to one camper to counselor ratio which allows us to cater to campers of any skill level. Our counselors are highly respected members of the outdoor community who love sharing their expertise and appreciation of the outdoors with young people.

"Base Camp" for 5-7 year old boys and girls, offers 1/2 day and full day sessions at Peak Experiences Indoor Rock Climbing Center in Midlothian. Includes rock climbing, swimming, games, lunch, snacks, and drinks.

Since 1999 over 130,000 students worldwide have immersed in hands-on learning to create iPhone apps, programs with C++ and Java, video games, websites, movies, 3D models, ad designs, robots, films, and photos. 3. The Orchestra Project - The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It features excellent faculty: Richmond Symphony Musicians and professors from VCU Music Department

The Orchestra Project features two concurrent programs:
Orchestra Intensive: for advanced winds, brass and strings open by audition only
String Odyssey: for strings only, all levels (2 years experience on instrument required, but no audition required.) Camp usually runs at the and of June/beginning of July, please contact us for specific dates.

4. Treasure Hunt Camp - Looking for awesome adventure? Treasure Hunt Camp is a week-long adventure in Richmond, VA for 7-10 year olds that encourages creative problem solving, exploration and imagination.

Welcome to the Summer Music Institutes 2012! The Summer Music Institutes
provide multifaceted opportunities for artistic growth for young musicians. Through
intensive institutes focused on Harp, Chamber Music, Guitar, Choir, Piano and
Musical Theater, SMI offers you unparalleled opportunities in musical performance
and instruction.
At the same time, we are proud to provide all of the fun and camaraderie of a summer
music camp, where you can form new friendships that will last a lifetime. SMI
students participate daily in ensembles, coachings and classes. We also offer courses
in music history, music theory, aural skills, conducting and numerous other special
seminars and masterclasses with faculty and world class guest artists, providing
once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to work with truly great artists.
Each student has an opportunity to perform and every institute finishes with a
group concert. Our outstanding faculty comes from the world’s finest musical
institutions, including the Juilliard School, Oberlin Conservatory, Shenandoah
Conservatory, Yale School of Music, and the Eastman School of Music. These
internationally recognized artists are experts in fostering a nurturing and professional
atmosphere, in which our students will experience the highest level of musical
training.
In our 17 year history, we have served over a thousand talented young musicians,
many returning year after year from all of the United States. We hope you will join us for SMI 2012!
