7. School of Rock Seattle Summer Camp: Classic Rock Rewind
Seattle, Washington

Our popular Summer day camp that includes a real Rock performance at the end of the week!!

Sure, Rock & Roll began in the 50's, but when people say “Classic Rock,” you think of those influential bands from the 60’s and 70’s that took Rock & Roll and made it... well, ROCK! Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and more. In School of Rock Seattle’s Classic Rock Rewind Summer camp, the students will discover and learn the Classic Rock jams that have influenced contemporary Rock acts ever since.

Campers ages 8 - 18 wanting to participate in our camps should have at least 6 months experience in guitar, bass, keys/piano, drums or voice lessons before attending (sign-up for lessons before!). To enroll in a camp, payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Camps run Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm with the show on Friday!!

A PLUS Summer Leadership Camp is a camp located at the Rainier Valley Boys and Girls Club for ages 12-15. Seattle's Computer Camp! Ages 8 - 16... Video, Game Design, Digital Sound Editing, plus 8 other topics.

Camp TechWise offers 5-day computer camps in Seattle for kids ages 8 - 16.
Each participant will choose ONE of the “Primary Topics” at the time they enroll.

Photography / Video (short-film): Students will research, script, storyboard, shoot and edit a complete video short film.

Game Creation: Students use game authoring software to build a multi-level computer game.

Music / Sound / Video Editing: combine video with sound editing (what is called Multi-Track production) and mix in a heavy dose of singing.

Solar Travelers (Grades Pre-K-K)
Discover the world of flight! In our half-day camp series, campers will engage in hands-on activities that support creativity, stimulate imagination, and encourage making friends. Orbital Pioneers (Grades 2-3)
Explore our universe! Through a variety of educational programs, activities, and games, campers will learn how science lets us understand the cosmos. Each week, we will discover different ways in which we use technology to expand our knowledge of the Earth and beyond!

Aerospace Explorers (Grades 4-5)
Discover new horizons in aviation as you take flight in the Aviation Learning Center. Explore the wonders of physics as you blast water-fueled rockets high into the air. Each week, our knowledgeable staff will lead you in exciting and educational activities, games, and crafts.

Planetary Voyagers (Grades 6-7)
Take a trip that’s out of this world in our Challenger Learning Center. Practice your astronaut skills in a micro gravity activity at a local pool! Build robots, launch rockets, design planes, and so much more!

Advance Camp (Grades 8-9)
Each week campers will pilot a Cessna around the Puget Sound with a certified flight instructor from a local Flight School. Each camp includes an overnight adventure on Thursday.

ACE is for everyone! Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs.

2015 sessions will begin June 15th and run until the end of August. All camp sessions run 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. Extended care is offered each morning from 7am-9am and Monday-Thursday afternoon from 4pm-6pm.
