WAEL celebrates 20 years of unique summer adventure camps and teen summer camps that are unlike any summer camps you've seen before. We are not a traditional summer camp; we are an all-outdoor, Wilderness Adventure Camp offering 2 and 4 week trips for ages 10 to 17 with a focus on developing skills in a multitude of adventure activities.

Whether you are new to adventure camps or have lots of experience you are sure to find the summer adventure camp that is right for you. We provide all of the necessary equipment (backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.) for your summer adventure camp experience.

Adventure Camp activities include: rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rappelling, caving, ropes course, climbing wall, 900' zip line, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, environmental education, and many more outdoor adventure activities.

Wide variety of activities, fantastic location, great staff. Camp Hidden Meadows has been offering quality, innovative programs since 1992 at our 250-acre camp in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia.

We offer 1, 2, 3, & 4 week sessions for ages 7-16. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting & whitewater kayaking, caving, mountain boarding, canoeing, backpacking, indoor climbing wall, outdoor climbing tower, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, outdoor living skills, nature center, swimming, sailing, 1000-foot zipline, and more!
