YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow offers a wide variety of Residential, Day and Teen Adventure Trip opportunities for campers ages 7-17. Specialty programs include: nature camp, a camp for girls only, and a camp for youth with Learning Disabilities. Camps 100 acres of mixed forests, glacial ridges and hollows along side Lake Elaine, a spring fed lake, makes it an idea setting for environmental education teaching and learning. YMCA Timbertop Camp is opperated by the Stevens Point Area YMCA - Camp Glacier Hollow. Timbertop Camp is for youth that have been identified by thier school disrict as needing extra help for a learning disability. Timbertop Camp combines traditional camp programs with extra reading practice and special group activities that focus on dealing with learning disabilities. Special attention is paid to peer relations, building self-confidence and learning new skills.
