Join our kitchen staff: an integral part of the camp community!
The main pre-requisite for a staff member is the genuine desire to live, work and play with children. Our program is well rounded and structured with complete, competent & supportive instruction in each activity.
The goal of our camps is to expose the campers to a wide variety of worthwhile activities and provide a safe, healthful environment in which to develop skills and gain self-confidence in group relationships. The majority of the campers attend for the entire 6 week season = more continuity.
The camps are on separate sites one mile apart. They are twenty miles from Rhinelander, WI where there is airline service. It is about a six hour drive north of Chicago.
The counselors arrive June 22 and remain until August 13. Beginning base salary for 7 weeks is $1600.00 Additional pay for experience, special certifications, etc. Travel allowance, room, board, laundry service and workman's compensation insurance are provided.
