Camp Rim Rock is a distinguished general camp approaching its' 59th season less than 2 hours from WA DC. An "Activity" Counselor provides lessons and instructs all age groups in a specific activity. The activity staff live with the general staff in a designated Unit of campers. This is home base, where all staff participate in evening activities and help in the day to day care of the children.
In addition to those positions listed below we have available positions in CHORUS, DRAWING & PAINTING,POTTERY, STAGECRAFT, ROPES and CLIMBING WALL, CAMP STORE and CAMP PHOTOGRAPHER.
A "General" counselor is a staff person who oversees her designated group of girls. Her primary responsibilities include maintaining the daily routine, planning and supervising special activites such as hikes, overnights, tubing down the river, and various evening programs. This counselor is vital in making 'home base' a happy place!
You’ll have a fantastic time at Camp Rim Rock if you have an outgoing personality, a good sense of humor, strong teaching skills in your activity area, good leadership ability, and experience in supervising and instructing children.
