Helping Campers with Disabilities: CAMP FUN FOR ALL!

Working at Camp Joy is rewarding,fun, and a wonderful experience! Our campers are kids & adults with mental retardation, autism, brain injury, cerebral palsy, and related neurological disorders. DISABILITIES EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED: we'll teach you everything that you need to know, and our returning counselors provide lots of support. Through helping others, you will learn a lot about yourself. We hire exceptional, motivatated, people from many states and nations: they are bright,highly motivated, caring, and responsible. They also have lots of good energy, solid coping skills, a quick smile, and a healthy sense of humor. Some of our campers need lots of help with everyday tasks, but everyone enjoys the camp fun! Our activies and facilities are are highly adapted so that all the campers experience success. Features include cabin camping, swimming, horse back riding, arts & crafts, expressive arts, outdoor games, dances, and more. We are near Philadelphia, and our salaries are excellent (our staff deserve it!).
