Over 97 years ago, Girl Scouts was created for girls to explore their possibilities. We are proud of our all-female camp community that is a unique and powerful environment for girls becoming young women. Now, more than ever, each girl needs a big sister, role model and mentor in their lives.

At Camp Misty Mountain we serve ADOLESCENT girls, primarily ages 10-15 years old. Adolescent girls need support, patience and guidance. A commitment to work at Misty Mountain is a commitment to girls facing changes in their lives, bodies and spirits. It will take great courage and strength on your part to mentor these young women, but it will also give you great rewards.

Please take time to seriously consider your summer employment opportunities and match your abilities, skills and personality with the camp that suits you best. We hope to see you in our community this summer.

2010 CAMP DATES: Our camp season begins with staff training May 24 and most will finish in late July, others the first week of August.

ATTENTION: Horseback Riding Instructors Needed! Do you have upper level English horseback riding experience? Would you like to attend a Certified Horsemanship Association clinic? Please apply with Camp Misty Mountain and discuss in detail your riding and teaching abilities.
