Make a difference in the life of a girl!
Are you looking for an amazing opportunity this summer? If so, we invite you to consider becoming a staff member at one of Girl Scouts of Colorado Council's summer camps. Located in the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains, our summer camps offer innovative, educational programs for girls in an all-female environment that helps them realize their full potential, gain self-confidence and become future leaders.
Magic Sky Ranch: Located two hours northwest of Denver near Red Feather Lakes. Campers are ages 9-17 and attend six- and twelve-day sessions. Program activities include horseback riding, challenge course, hiking, nature, night arts & crafts, archery and international programs. Magic Sky is a brand new modern facility (living units are comprised of seasonal shelters with running water and toilet facilities, and cabins) with the opportunity for more advanced programming.
Sky High Ranch: Located approximately one hour northwest of Colorado Springs, Sky High is a rustic traditional Girl Scout camp. It has a very strong environmental education program and is geared towards girls ages 7-17. Programs include horseback riding, canoeing, backpacking, digglers, ropes course, zip line, arts & crafts, petting zoo, archery and a sports field. Sky High began in 1952 and is comprised of cabins (some with electricity, some without), tabins, and platform tents with latrines. There are several remote camp sites for tent overnights within its 880 acres.
Tomahawk Ranch: Located one hour southwest of Denver near Bailey. Campers are ages 7-17 and attend three- and six-sessions. Program activities include arts & crafts, farm, llama hikes, dance/drama, sports/archery, nature, night owl and camping skills. Tomahawk is a developed facility (living units are comprised of lodges with indoor plumbing, seasonal shelters, and platform tents) and offers a general camp program.
In addition to the positions listed below, we are also looking for Challenge Course and Climbing Wall Specialists.
