Would you like to work outside this summer? Do you love teaching and working with children? Camp Arcadia has summer job opportunities for you! We are seeking dedicated, hard working and fun activity and lodge counselors for our summer 2010 season.Camp Arcadia is a residential girls camp located in Casco, ME..about 45 minutes from Portland. We are located on 365 acres, beside a beautiful spring-fed lake and surrounded by forest and fields. We have been in operation for 94 years and are ACA accredited.
We have 180 campers ages 7-17. Our 80 staff come from around the world, thus blending new ideas and experience to well-loved Camp Arcadia traditions.
You should enjoy working with children, be skilled and have experience in at least one activity area and have a good sense of humor!
All staff teach one activity. Female staff are also lodge counselors. Male staff have other responsibilities.
We offer a competitive salary, room and board, staff orientation, certification training, uniform and travel allowance.
CURRENT SENIOR/ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS:
Department Heads: Must be 21+ with experience managing other staff. Must have strong personal skills and experience in one of the following activities:
