Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: A recreational and experiential educational program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth.Located in the Snowmass Valley, along the Snowmass Creek, Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing can be your next summer adventure. Every summer over 100 campers from across the country and around the world, experience the positive development of self-esteem, self-reliance, teambuilding and fun.
Activities include Outdoor Education: hiking, backpacking, nature studies, horseback riding, rafting and high ropes challenges; Creative Expressions: drama, arts & crafts, and pottery; Western Heritage: study of Native American cultures, western history and folklore, and: Special Events; Career Days with visiting Deaf professionals, our Community Open House and MORE!!!
The Aspen Camp also offers exciting winter programs and sign language classes every fall and spring.
