Counselor - Camp Director - Nurse

Easter Seals Camp Harmon is located in the beautiful redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, and is only half and hour away from the beach town of Santa Cruz or an hour and a half from San Francisco. We are a special needs residential summer camp serving children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities in six day sessions throughout the summer. Staff works in cabin groups with other counselors and continuous training and support is offered throughout the summer. You do not need previous experience to apply. Anyone can be successful in this role as long as they are patient, compassionate, hardworking and willing to learn and apply new skills. A few of our programming opportunities include swimming, sports and games, arts and crafts, drama and horseback riding.
Staff Orientation is paid and starts on June 5 and ends on June 8. Camp sessions start June 10 and run until August 17. The salary is $210.00 per week for counselors and $1000.00 per week for the on-site camp director and nurses, plus room and board. We also have openings to work with our kitchen and maintenance teams.
