Male and Female staff for NC mountain camps!
We are noncompetitive, non-regimented camps focused on fun, growth and instruction. We need people who enjoy working and living with children and have skills in: backpacking, traditional rock climbing, mountain biking, whitewater canoeing and kayaking, sailing, horseback riding (English), mountain biking, swimming, environmental education, tennis and arts and crafts. Extensive tripping program. Working at Mondamin / Green Cove, you will have three basic responsibilities: 1) Teaching skills and leading trips in an outdoor activity. 2) Working directly with kids as a counselor, advisor, and advocate constantly. For most staff, this means living with 5 or 6 kids in a cabin unit. 3) Participation and influence as a member of the camp community. Come put your leadership skills to work!
