Camp Sealth is a coed resident and day camp serving youth ages 5 to 17. Owned by Camp Fire Central Puget Sound, Sealth's mission is to build caring, confident youth and future leaders. Located on 400 acres of waterfront on Vashon Island, WA, Sealth is rich in forest, wetland and marine environments. Up to 250 campers each session participate in activities including sailing, horseback riding, archery, arts and crafts, canoeing, rowing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, backpacking/camping, outdoor living skills, nature/environmental studies, sports, games, teen adventure trips and more. Camp Sealth hires around 80 staff each summer, including cabin counselors, activitiy specialists and leadership and support staff. Employment dates are June 19 to August 26 for most positions; salaries range from $1,650 to $2,400 depending on position and qualifications. Camp Sealth is looking for some talented people who love kids and want to be outdoors to work with the spring Environmental Education program as well as conference/retreat groups.

Spring staff at Camp Sealth split their time between a variety of tasks/functions. Assist with support roles including dishwashing, meal service, cooking, cabin cleaning, and activity leadership (archery, hikes, boating, crafts, challenge, etc.) for retreat groups. In addition, staff need to have passion for and experience with science and the outdoors, as they will also function as instructors for Environmental Education school groups.
