Excellent opportunity for those who want to further their own professional development, especially for those interested in careers in psychology, social work, education, health care, or one of the helping fields. Since 1959 , Camp Buckskin has been serving campers with AD/HD, Learning Disabilities, and Apspergers to help them achieve greater success in their lives.
We are located in the Superior National Forest near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Ely, MN. In our past 50 years, we've helped over 8000 young people build their self-confidence, increase their self-esteem,and improve academic performance.
We are looking for quality people who have a genuine interest in being a good role model and providing our campers with the support and guidance they need. Many of our staff come from the helping fields, but this is not a prerequisite, as most anyone could benefit from improving their communication, leadership, and problem solving skills! This is a great opportunity to learn alot, have fun, and create life long friendships and memories.
