The Camp offers many program activity areas including a swimming pool, two waterfronts on the lake for kayaking, sailing, canoeing and paddle boating, both a low & high ropes challenge course, a pioneer wilderness camping area, hiking trails, an animal farm, archery range, arts & crafts and nature lodge, basketball courts, four athletic fields, and a staff lounge with a game room and big screen television. In addition, there are two outdoor amphitheaters with campfire circles. These areas are primarily used for evening programs and devotional times. For large gatherings and rainy day activities we utilize the Performing Arts and Recreation Center Pavilion which can seat up to 1000 campers and features a basketball/volleyball court, state-of-the-art sound and video and theatrical production capabilities.

The purpose of Salvation Army camping is to serve the physical, social, and spiritual needs of campers.
Physical needs are met through the development of good health habits including cleanliness, proper rest, a balanced diet, and daily exercise.
To meet social needs, the camp provides an opportunity for each camper to experience the positive aspects of community living.
The spiritual needs of campers are addressed through the Christian Education Program. This program utilizes everyday camp experiences to teach children how to be more like Christ.
