Everyone who comes to Camp Webb is given the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others, to discover more about the Episcopal Church, to develop a greater spiritual awareness, and to encounter Christ through living and learning in God’s creation. All who come will learn new skills, make new friends, create lasting memories and explore who they are and who God is in their lives.
Lodging and meals are provided for the staff for the four weeks of camp. Each staff person will get two hours off each day as well as 24 hours off in between sessions. Lodging is in a newly constructed facility with with multiple bunk-beds, bathrooms and a kitchen.
Camp is held at the beautiful and centrally located Lutherdale Camp in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. It is has a lake, large playing fields, basketball court, archery range, large and small campfire pits, volleyball court, ropes course and more.
Each day will consist of large group time, small group time, a wide variety of staff led activities from which the campers can choose (such as arts and crafts, music, meditation and journaling, games, hikes, archery, etc.), worship, evening activities, waterfront time and more. There will be special activities for the Junior and Senior High Week, including ropes course, special events, theme days, and much more!
Christian Formation is a part of the daily experience at Camp Webb. We believe that it is important to learn about Christ through scripture, music, drama, arts, storytelling, and outdoor worship. We will have a chaplain at each session of camp as well as visiting clergy and other guests to help guide us in our spiritual growth and Christian formation.
We invite and welcome all young people to share in the camp experience, so invite your friends, cousins and family! Camp Webb is open to all campers regardless of race, sex, creed, national origin, age or handicap.
We believe that no child should miss camp because of money. Scholarship assistance is available on a first come, first serve basis. Please apply early for assistance. Also check with local resources such as your own parish (go ask your priest/pastor), church groups (women’s/men’s group, youth group, etc.).
Camps begin on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and end on Friday at 2 p.m. with a closing ceremony. Children need to be picked up from camp by 3:00 p.m. that day. There will be a $20/hour fee for late camper pick up.
Camp is held at Lutherdale Camp in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
