Camp Timber Ridge is seeking energetic and motivated camp staff to work with girls ages 5-15. It is the mission of the camp to work to provide girls with experiences that boost their self confidence, teach them independence, create an environment to make new friends and experience new adventures. Camp Timber Ridge offers both a day and overnight program and staff will be trained to work with girls in both settings. We also offer and adventure travel program for girls in middle and high school.
Camp is located 4 miles outside the city of Atlanta. It is nestled on 280 wooden acres complete with a small pond, archery range, challenge course, hiking trails, climate controlled cabins and platform tent housing options, swimming pool and so much more.
Camp counselors need to be flexible and energetic and prepared to work with girls in a outdoor setting 24 hours a day.
Adventure travel Staff need to be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.Staff also need to have a love for the out of doors and have experience primitive camping and cooking in this type of setting. Staff will be responsible with one other staff member for 10 girls while off site for 3-5 days participating in wilderness activites.
