ACTeen (est. 1978) is the nation's first on-camera acting academy developed for teens. Professional film and television acting courses (incorporating the intimacy, and spontaneity of on-camera training) combine with over 12 electives utilizing the discipline and technique of the theater. Courses include: Speech, Voice, Alexander Technique, Movememt, Improvisation, Dialects, Shakespeare, Musical Theater, Commercials & Voiceovers, Directing, Script Writing, Auditioning, Scene Study, Monologues. June, July, August or Saturday summer academies. Recommended by over 40 talent agencies. ACTeen grads starred in eight TV series last season, and three Broadway plays. Professional working instructors from top acting universities and conservatories. Intimate class sizes (8-12 students per class ) to maximize personal growth and attention.
