Liz Clark, Colorado native and US/ Ireland-based professional singer-songwriter, is hosting a summer camp, “All Girl Band – A Rock and Roll Day Camp for Girls” at a 30-acre Parker-area ranch this summer.
Liz will be returning to Colorado for a different and exciting project: a fun-filled, weeklong workshop and mentoring program for girls ages 10-16. The program - designed for girls who have an interest in entering the music field, or who have a curiosity for sharing music - aims to boost self-esteem and collaboration. The workshops will encompass performance, singing, songwriting, guitar, piano, and recording. The camp will commence with a performance for friends and family.
ABOUT LIZ CLARK
In 2010, Liz won the prestigious Lilith Fair Ourstage Songwriting Competition, where she performed live with EmmyLou Harris and Sarah McLachlan in the Lilith Fair Music Festival. Liz - a professional musician for over a decade - is completing her 5th studio album, “Lonely And The Moose,” a collaborative project with Irish singer/songwriter Tessa Perry. She was recently welcomed into the Arts for Health Programme in Ireland where she has developed a collaborative approach to the songwriting process in healthcare settings, using her musical and motivational skills with groups to write songs with Alzheimer’s patients.
Liz divides her time between performing and touring in Europe or The States and writing music in either her adopted home of West Cork, Ireland or Parker, Colorado.
