Broadway Theater Dance Workshop is for intermediate to advanced dancers ages 14-20. We are dedicated to training the Broadway dancers of tomorrow – the gypsies and the stars. Our teachers are working dancers, choreographers, and directors straight from Broadway and the New York City dance world. Faculty Broadway credits include: Grease!, The Music Man, A Chorus Line, Cats, Tap Dance Kid, 42nd Street, Crazy for You, Annie 2, and Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular.
Our curriculum is first and foremost a dance intensive, but also includes voice and acting classes with top-notch teachers. Mornings are spent in technique classes – ballet, jazz, tap, theater dance, voice, and drama. Afternoons are spent in a professional rehearsal setting, learning original choreography in preparation for our end-of-the-workshop performances. Evenings are spent in special presentations with faculty and guest artists.
