Cal Shakes Summer Theater Camp offers youth the opportunity to immerse themselves in all aspects of theater performance. Campers take classes in everything from Acting to Stage Combat and rehearse a Shakespearean play to perform at the end of the camp.

Does your child love to perform? Give your child the summer of a lifetime at Cal Shakes Summer Theater Camp. Studying with Cal Shakes professional actors and artists, campers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in all aspects of performance. Mornings are spent studying acting, improvisation, stage combat, voice, movement, physical comedy, fencing and Shakespeare, and afternoons in rehearsal for a play to be performed for the public.

A condensed version of the Five-Week Camp, the Two-Week Camp is great for students new to the program or returning students unable to attend the entire Five-Week session.
