Camp Carter YMCA is a traditional, co-ed summer camp for children ages 6-16. We offer a wide range of programs, including Resident Camp, Day Camp, Leaders-In-Training, and a specialty day camp for children with visual impairments. Camp Carter also offers year-round programs such as Family Camp, Winter Camp, Spring Break Camp, Conferences and Retreats, Equestrian Lessons, Outdoor Education, and Teambuilding/Leadership Development. Located just ten minutes from downtown Ft. Worth, Camp Carter lays on 350 acres along the Trinity River. Our beautiful terrain includes forests, hills, a private lake, and miles of hiking trails.
