The Leadership Academy is a physically active, intellectually challenging three-week program for rising 11th and 12th graders. The program includes a unique combination of outdoor activities and academic instruction designed to uncover each participant's leadership potential. Activities include rock climbing, rappelling, team building, a challenge course, wilderness capture the flag, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, and caving. In addition, there will be guest speakers joining the group to talk about goal setting, public speaking, time management, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership roles in society. The Academy's exceptional staff will help every participant learn what it means to be a leader, and will provoke them to consider what leadership roles they might take now, and in the future.
