Camp Jened provides a vacation for adults who have a wide range of physical and developmental disabilities including: Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism and Behavior Disorders. Please read the "More About Camp" section for 2009 Summer Season information.
After extensive considerations, Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State, the owner and operator of Jened Recreation Village has decided to suspend Jened’s operation for the 2009 Summer Season due to financial circumstances. If adequate funds are made available, Jened Recreation Village will resume operation in 2010.
At this time we are not hiring any staff or enrolling any campers. Our E-mail campjened@pronetisp.net and website http://www.campjened.org will be inactive.
As soon as we resume our programs we will update our listing. For further information please call Mr. Duane Schielke, Executive Vice President and Chief of Development and Quality Management of CP of NYS at (212) 947-5770 extension 204.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
