Our U.S. and international staff team ROCKS! We only hire cool, bright people who are responsible, kind, patient, and able to cope with lots of daily challenges. DISABILITIES EXPERIENCE IS NOT NECESSARY! We'll teach you everything you need to know, and we'll back you up with ongoing support. Our setting is a beautiful, wooded site about 40 minutes from Philadelphia. Some of our campers need lots of help with everyday tasks, but they all enjoy camp fun! Consider a summer at Camp Joy: while it's not a vacation and the work is challenging, the personal rewards are powerful and lasting. You'll also establish tight, long term friendships with your international coworkers.
