Namanu offers intentional and well-developed programs, based on the philosophy of Camp Fire USA, with an emphasis on the small group, individual attention, and an appreciation of differences. Programs focus on cooperative group living, and appreciation of nature, non-competitive sports, skill development, concern for others, fun, and forming friendships.

Over 100,000 local boys and girls have been to Camp Namanu in its 87 – year history. This revered Oregon institution offers a variety of traditional summer camp activities on 552 beautiful acres of forest at the foot of Mt. Hood.
