More About Camp
Camp North Star offers a traditional resident camp experience blended with a relaxed and sensitive camp culture that encourages each camper’s personal growth. A diverse community with international campers and staff from more than 15 countries promotes a sense of global consciousness among all campers.
Our full and half season program is designed to give campers plenty of activity choices to explore their interests, strengthen their skills and provide them plenty of time to play, rest and reflect.
Located on 200 acres of towering pines and dramatic rock outcroppings, the camp surrounds a private lake and features newly renovated cabins, an arts center, theatre, dance studio, a small animal farm, tennis courts, athletic fields, riding stables and miles of trails.
Our beautiful campus provides the backdrop for a full range of traditional program choices in the arts, including theatre, dance, and music; as well as some unique visual arts such as pottery, stained glass, fabric arts, sculpture, jewelry, and painting. For campers who enjoy outdoor challenge and adventure, there is rock-climbing, hiking, challenge ropes course, and canoe trips. The waterfront activities include swimming, water-skiing, canoeing, and sailing. Sports activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, martial arts, and golf. Group activities in the evening and on special days round out the busy schedule.
