Camp Pocono Ridge is a summer home, a safe playground and a learning center to thousands of children over our fifty two year history. We provide parents with the security they look for and children with the fun and safety they need.
Camp Pocono Ridge specializes in the first-time new camper and camp parent; but we do such a good job that children stay for a lifetime!
Camp Pocono Ridge is a constant for children in an ever-changing world. Our camp program uniquely combines the social values, activities and ideals of traditional camping with an updated individual elective program that challenges and captures the attention of today’s youth. We easily emphasize a community atmosphere while satisfying individual needs & desires.
Camp Pocono Ridge provides a beautiful setting and secure environment for campers; mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially, so that each may have the opportunity to have fun, make good friends, explore their unique talents and realize their own potential. It has been our pleasure to partner with parents, these many years, so that our children better understand, enjoy and appreciate their own individual gifts.
The Camp Pocono Ridge program is specifically and uniquely designed to positively impact the whole child. Our split-day program typically consists of two bunk electives, three individualized elective periods, a rest hour, general swim, free period, evening activity and canteen, and everyone has fun everyday!
Sending your child into the care of others can be a scary time but at Camp Pocono Ridge our camp parents are so satisfied by our unsurpassed level of communication during their child's stay that they take the time to rest, and have fun too!
