More About Camp
We are a residential camp for children and adults who have physical challenges, developmental delays or multiple disabilities. The camp is a very traditional camp with swimming, arts & crafts, performing arts, nature, horseback riding, an adapted ropes challenge course, etc. We simply adapt what we do for the individual needs of each camper. We have a 2:1 ratio of campers to staff with additional staff available to accommodate a 1:1 ration when needed. Our campers’ disabilities range from mild to severe. Our sessions are designed to be age and disability specific (example – Young Adults 19 – 29 who are physically challenged, etc.) and then within each week we divide the cabins by age groups as well. Our schedule is posted on our website under “Happenings” and “Camp Calendar”. We also offer weekend sessions in the Spring and Fall. We begin serving campers at age 6 and have no upper age limit. We offer a sliding scale fee structure ranging from $215 to $1200, with additional camperships available for those who need the assistance for our summer sessions. Most campers pay no more than $700. We have never had to turn a camper away because of the fee. The fee for weekend sessions is $225.
