At Camp Tanadoona, we believe in giving children the tools to blaze their own trails in life. We know that youth possess all the resources they need to thrive; our job is to provide them with a safe, fun environment where their own creative energies can carry them forward. We provide hands-on outdoor experiences, supervised by caring, professional counselors. The beautiful Camp Tanadoona landscape does the rest, providing a fantastic setting where children’s natural sense of wonder can run wild!

Camp Tanadoona offers week-long day camp sessions for campers age 5 and up. Campers can sample from a range of programs, or focus on the one activity that truly ignites their passion. For campers age 6 and up, we offer overnight sessions lasting three to five nights. Older campers (ages 11 to 13 and up) can choose between two Northwoods canoeing and backpacking trips: traveling through the pristine Minnesota wilderness, campers will spend up to ten days in a small group, supervised by our most experienced, knowledgeable counselors.

Our goal is to build caring, confident youth and future leaders. This is a time of magic in young people’s lives, when children absorb the bits and pieces from the world around them and start discovering who they are. At Camp Tanadoona, we provide children with the friendships, encouragement, and sense of adventure that will help them blossom. Tomorrow’s leaders deserve no less.
