More About Camp
Camp $tart-Up supports teen women in their quest for independence as they translate their interests and dreams to enterprise and financial self-sufficiency. Sessions are held all over the Country. At Camp $tart-Up, graduates from the nation's leading business schools and successful women entrepreneurs function as faculty to introduce participants to the language, culture and fundamentals of business. The heart of the program is the Business Plan Team Project in which small groups create their own business concept and develop a business plan. Through this process, the girls solve problems, learn research and financial techniques, exercise leadership, and effective following, develop presentation skills and discover their unique strengths and contributions as part of a team.
Camp $tart-Up is presented by Independent Means Inc., the leading provider of family centered financial education experiences.
