Prepare for an adventure of arts and cultures with Darlington Arts Center’s accomplished professional teaching artists. Explore the diversity throughout our world and learn about regional music, art, dance and drama. Darlington’s Cultural Summer Arts Camp 2011 continues to raise student’s awareness of the various cultures around our country and our connections around the globe.

Each day the campers will be exposed to all 4 disciplines through lessons, games and projects taught by professional visual artists, musicians, dancers and actors. Campers will “travel” to places both familiar and unknown, and expand their understanding of local and global cultures through artistic exploration. Small groups ensure campers individualized attention and encouragement.

The campers will be divided into groups by age (usually: 3-5, 5-7, 8-12, 8-13 or 9-14 depending upon theme)

Full Day Arts Camps(ages 5 & up) are daily, Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. The cost per week is $275. (Closed Monday, July 4th resulting in a short week & lower cost)

Preschool Arts Camp (ages 3-5) is in the morning, 9:30am-Noon, and has three choices each week:
- 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday $75 per week*
– 2 days a week: Tuesday & Thursday $50 per week
– 5 days a week: Monday-Friday $125 per week*
All Preschoolers MUST be potty-trained!
*Center closed Monday, July 4th resulting in an adjusted Preschool schedule & cost

Extended Day Options are available for all ages:
– Before Camp Care for Full Day Camp 8-9am $12/day
– Preschool Before Camp Care 8-9:30am $15/day
– Preschool Lunch Bunch (bring your lunch) Noon-1pm $10/day
– After Camp Care for Full Day Camp 3-5pm $12/day
Earlier or later arrangements available; price to be determined.

new! Sibling Discounts are available for families with more than one child attending the same week of camp (do not have to be in the same age group). Each additional sibling will receive 5% off an equal or lower priced camp. Extended Day options are also eligible for the discount. To receive the sibling discount, registrations must be done over the phone or in person.
