At Astar Education Institute's Explore China Global Leadership summer camp, kids will not only learn a new language, they will develop leadership skills, express their creativity, discover an appreciation another culture, and even make friends from China!
In the mornings children learn to speak Chinese using Astar's proven curriculum that make learning a new language fun and engaging through songs, stories, games, and music from China! They also attend leadership workshops where hands on activities build students confidence and responsibility as they creat skits, invent new solutions, and discover the world around them. Afternoons are filled with exciting activities with Chinese students who are also participating in the camp like outdoor team games and sports, traditional Chinese dance lessons, Chinese chess tournaments, calligraphy and brush painting, and a culminating leadership tour to Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for students to use Chinese as it's meant to be used - to communicate and make friends with people from China!
