More About Camp

Our beginner course for riders ages 7 to 14 includes learning how to read a horse's body language, how to handle a horse on the ground safely, how to feed, groom, pick hooves, tack up, mount and dismount. Ask your horse to go forward and backward, walk and trot (canter).
You'll leave with an understanding of what's involved with caring for a horse and the joy of riding.
We'll supply the horse, helmet and tack. Wear your jeans and hard-soled shoes. Bring a sack lunch and be prepared to have fun!
