Nestled in the cool pines of the Bradshaw Mountains near Prescott, Arizona, Friendly Pines shares 70 summers of camping experience with boys and girls, ages 6-13. Campers live in sturdy redwood cabins. Low camper to staff rations provide safe and constant supervision. Staff are carefully screened, a process that includes professional background checks and drug testing.
The Friendly Pines program is based on a time tested philosophy that encourages independence and self reliance, and "learning by doing". Campers choose their own activities from a list of over 30. Our traditional program includes English and Western riding, rock climbing, ropes course, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, sports, tennis, crafts, performing arts, photography, pets, outdoor living skills, and more.
