Come join us for a summer of Shakespeare and outdoor fun in beautiful,
rustic Topanga. Participate in classical theatre techniques, learn
about the greatest English playwright, discover some new talents and
make lots of new friends. If you enjoy being in small groups, building
an ensemble, and challenging yourself, you will love our camps.
Technique classes include stage fighting and fencing, theatre games and
improvisation, voice, speech, Elizabethan dance and period movement,
character development, Elizabethan music, acting Shakespeare, and much
more.

This 5-week workshop is held at Theatricum¹s beautiful 300-seat outdoor amphitheatre and surrounding gardens. Modeled after our Adult Seminar, teenagers learn acting techniques useful for performing Shakespeare and other texts. They hone these techniques in class while directly applying them to Shakespeare scenes and monologues which are presented at the final performance on August 12. Students must attend the entire session, plus performance date in order to apply. Techniques include:
