Welcome the new nation by getting to know the residents of this Hudson Valley estate - the Van Cortlandt family, the enslaved Africans and tenant farmers who lived during this time. Costumed interpreters help bring this camp experience to life. Activities range from brick making and tin punching to medicinal herbs and cross stitching. Campers fish on the river and play authentic period games.
