Howe Summer Camp is a place where boys ages 9-15 discover a world of fun and challenge for three-week or six-week sessions. Located on the shores of beautiful Cedar Lake in Howe, Indiana, the camp's grounds include 50 acres of woodland and open countryside.

First 3 weeks - June 17 - July 6, 2012

A camper may stay for 3 or 6 weeks. The 2011 camp fee was $2,200 for 3 weeks or $3,500 for 6 weeks. [Total fee may change for 2012.]

Learn to excel: At Howe, we play hard, but we also work hard, and campers benefit from Howe's tradition of academic excellence. The emphasis of camp life is on recreational activities. However, boys also have the option to receive review instruction or prepare for their next school year in mathematics and English for 40 minutes each.

Have fun: water sports, archery, canoeing, camping basics, horseback riding, LEGO robotics, SCUBA/snorkeling and a high ropes course. The weekends are packed with camp games, open swimming, a church service and field trips. Every day of the week there is personal attention from trained instructors who help each other develop sports skills, confidence and self-reliance.

Each camper is assigned according to age. Campers live in open bay cabins with bunk beds. There are two counselors per cabin. We have a counselor to camper ratio of 1 to 8 for older campers and 1 to 6 for younger campers. Most of our counselors have at least 3 years experience as counselors.
