More About Camp
Founded in 2002 by author Eleyne Austen Sharp, KID FILMMAKERS is committed to producing quality filmmaking programs for children to schools, libraries, community centers, film festivals, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, churches and movie theaters. Year-round workshops include Animation Vacation, Cutting Loose, Faked You Out!, Film Wizard Workshop, Get Reel, Movie Maestros, Practical Pirates, Screen Stealers, ScriptKidz, Summer Shoot and TV Graffiti.
Faculty members are experienced film industry professionals with credits from MGM Pictures, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Discovery Channel, NBC, PBS, Turner Broadcasting and more. (Some are film and television award winners!) Because we care, all staff members must pass a Background Criminal Investigation.
REGISTER NOW FOR SUMMER 2009: We offer a variety of one-week summer filmmaking programs for ages 10-15 in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island:
