Founded in 1893, Mercersburg is a private, coed, college preparatory boarding school with a reputation for excellence that attracts students from over 28 states and 30 countries during the school year. Our summer and extended programs reflect that standard of excellence. Camps, workshops, and conferences feature quality staffs with excellent reputations and credentials. Caring, professional teachers and energetic, well-trained counselors share common bonds of enthusiasm, experience, and a commitment to working with people.
We focus on challenging people to excel in their interests and to try new ideas, and we accomplish this by providing wonderful chances to learn, to experience, and to succeed. Limited enrollments ensure the quality of attention and instruction that makes the Mercersburg experience unique.

In addition to on-campus programs, the school's partnership with the Liceo-Sorolla School in Madrid, Spain provides students with an immersion experience in Spanish culture.
Program areas include Academic Camp, Learning Skills Workshop, Summer in Spain, the Ethics Institute for Student Leaders, and the PASCO Scientific Institute for science teachers. Grade levels range from 6-12.
