Spend a week training like an astronaut to create the first permanent outpost off our home planet! Learn all about what it takes to live and work in space and on the Moon.
Wear spacesuits and MoonShoes, test meteor impact craters, work with real NASA scientists, design your own Lunar habitat, grown your own space plants, run simulations in Mission Control and the Moon Base, and launch rockets!
Camp staff are scientists and engineers with experience in a wide variety of space-related science and engineering fields. NASA engineers and aerospace industry professionals offer inspirational guest instruction. Appropriate for grades 3-5 or 6-8, camps are located in the northern Virginia, central Maryland, and DC areas.
