More About Camp
The Museum of Flights’ Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) is an American Camp Association accredited day camp for the child who is excited about aerospace and aviation! Five unique camps offer specialized activities for children entering grades 1-9.

Flight Camp (Grades 1-2)
Flight Campers explore the four forces of flight and journey through the history if aviation through fun hands-on activities, visits by special guests, and test flights of rockets and aircraft that they design. They also tour King County International Airport (Boeing Field) to see aviation in action.

Aerospace Explorers (Grades 3-4)
Aerospace Explorers enter the exciting world of flight dynamics and design their own contributions to aerospace. Interactive games let them live the history of aviation while building the future with new friends

Planetary Voyagers (Grades 5-7)
Planetary Voyagers is the camp for the young space enthusiast. Learn about the science of space flight, experience what it’s like to work in a microgravity environment, and build robotic rovers for future missions to the Moon or Mars.

Restoration Camp (Grades 5-8)
Restoration Camp is held at The Museum of Flight’s Restoration Center at Paine Field in Everett, WA. Campers build the skills they need to assemble and refurbish aircraft under the guidance of Museum experts. They also tour Boeing’s Everett plant, participate in a simulated accident investigation, and assemble a kit plane.

Advance Camp (Grades 7-9)
All Advance Campers have the unforgettable experience of piloting a Cessna over Seattle with a certified flight instructor from Wings Aloft. Each session also features an overnight at either Camp Killoqua in Everett, the Seattle Aquarium, or the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, OR.

ACE is for everyone! Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs.

2007 sessions will begin mid-June and run until the end of August. All camp sessions run 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. Extended care is offered each morning from 7am-9am and Monday-Thursday afternoon from 4pm-6pm.

Early registration begins 12/16/06. E-mail ace@museumofflight.org or call 206.768.7141 for more information or to get a brochure sent to you.
