The Museum of Flights’ Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) is an American Camp Association accredited day camp for the child who is excited about aerospace and aviation! Five unique camps offer specialized activities for children entering grades K-9.
Flight Camp (Grades K-1)
Explore the world of flight through fun and exciting hands-on activities and games. Each
week campers learn about the four forces of flight and tour King County International
Airport. Campers make models, toys, and crafts to take home every day.
Orbital Pioneers (Grades 2-3)
Explore our universe! Through a variety of educational programs, activities, and games, campers will learn how science lets us understand the cosmos. Each week, we will discover different ways in which we use technology to expand our knowledge of the Earth and beyond!
Aerospace Explorers (Grades 3-4)
Discover new horizons in aviation as you take flight in the Aviation Learning Center. Explore the wonders of physics as you blast water-fueled rockets high into the air. Each
week, our knowledgeable staff will lead you in exciting and educational activities, games, and crafts.
Planetary Voyagers (Grades 5-7)
Take a trip that’s out of this world in our Challenger Learning Center. Practice your astronaut skills in a micro gravity activity at a local pool! Build robots, launch rockets, design planes, and so much more!
Advance Camp (Grades 7-9)
Each week campers will pilot a Cessna around the Puget Sound with a certified flight instructor from a local Flight School. Each camp includes an overnight adventure on Thursday.
ACE is for everyone! Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs.
2013 sessions will begin mid-June and run until the end of August. All camp sessions run 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. Extended care is offered each morning from 7am-9am and Monday-Thursday afternoon from 4pm-6pm.
