The NY Sports Academy is held on the beautiful North Shore campus of NYIT in Old Westbury. Full and mini day programs Multi Sport programs are available for any of our 6 one week sessions. This program is specially designed to meet the needs of the younger child. Physical Education is an integral part of a youngster's development. At the Sports Academy, a young child can have a first-hand experience by being introduced to many different sports activities on a daily basis. Various motor skills and patterns of movement developed at an early age will help to increase coordination and athletic ability as your child grows and matures. We believe and have first hand knowledge and experience that children can be taught the meaning of teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through small group instruction. With our structured environment, each child can improve his skills while developing a positive feeling of confidence and a lifelong love of sports. In each sport area, children will find an experienced, caring, patient, and knowlegeable staff member. Our low ratio of coach to player (1:6) will ensure your child's personal attention.
