Peace and Piece is a learning center where children can achieve their full potential by learning through play and playing through learning. We offer half day and full day camp for ages for 3-15 at a weekly rate, also campers can register for class separately.
Junior Camp /Lego WeDo Robotics (ages 6 to 8) - Junior Camp utilizes Lego Education WeDo building kit for students ages 6-8 with prior building experience to explore beginning robotics and programming challenges. Campers will build vivid real world life models and create programs to make their robotic model to move and make sounds.
Jr. Advanced Camp /Lego Simple Machines & Motorized Mechanisms (ages 9-11)
- Jr. Advanced Camp utilizes Lego Education Simple and Motorized Mechanisms building kits for students ages 8-10 with previous building experience to explore, build, and calibrate machines and mechanisms for motorized and non motorized building activities.
Advanced Camp /Lego NXT Mindstorms 2.0 Robotics (ages 12 to 14)
- Advanced Camp utilizes Lego Education Mindstorms 2.0 building kits for students ages 9-14 with extensive building experience to sxplore advanced robotic building challenges and beginner programming lesson.
Computer Graphic Camp / video Game Making ages 8 to 14)
- Encourages the avid gamer to create a 2D platform video game. This camp uses programming, animation concepts, and mathematical equations to help create a functional video game. Campers will take home all their creation on a CD.
Academic Camp / Reading, Writing & Math (ages 6 to 10)
- Campers will have academic classes to prepare for the next school year. This class will offer Math, Reading and Writing classes focused on critical thinking skills and test preperation.
