Pinemere was established in 1942 as a JCCA regional camp. Set in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Pinemere has created an exceptionally beautiful environment to foster the positive growth and development of each of its campers.
Serving the Jewish community for more than sixty years, Pinemere Camp is dedicated to providing children with an opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary resident camping experience in an environment that allows them to explore their own Jewish identity. We offer 3 options for camp enrollment: a Full Season of 7 weeks, a First Session of 4 weeks and a Second Session of 3 weeks. Located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, our 180-acre campus includes a private lake, swimming pool, field house, outdoor courts and fields, modern facilities and more. Activities range from athletics and arts, to waterfront and outdoor education and adventure. Campers select and attend activities as bunk groups and as individuals. Staff to camper ratio is 1:3. We are proud to serve families from diverse Jewish backgrounds. First-time campers are eligible for our introductory tuition. Kosher.
