Camp Q fosters each child's personal growth with low stress activities and competitions. Kids learn, gain confidence, and have fun safely. Children learn to appreciate the natural world and acquire interests they carry into adulthood while they build lifelong friendships.
Camp Quinebarge is located in the Lakes Region of N.H., bordering The White Mountains. Boys and girls ages 7-15 reside in screened cabins holding 6-8 campers & staff overlooking the shore of Lake Kanasatka, a quiet mile long clean lake, home to fish, herons and Loons. Campers choose their activities with guidance by a trained staff, many of whom are teachers and college students from around the world. In this non-competitive environment that fosters growth and friendships, campers choose from a wide variety of sports and activities. These include waterfront activities such as Red Cross Swim Instruction, to all kinds of boating and sailing, kayaking and canoeing. Other activities include archery, horseback riding, tennis, fencing, frolf and a variety of field sports, arts and crafts, woodworking, our 26 element ropes course and climbing wall, plus hikes and trips to area attractions, white water canoeing and rafting, paddling or tubeing on calm waters, socials and contra dances, a library for quiet times and much more.
Sessions are 2-7 weeks beginning in late June. Our maximum of 100 campers in each session means Camp Q is quickly a family, while two week sessions and longer forges friendships and lets kids acquire new skills. Quinebarge is a camp where kids have fun and develop lifetime interests in the outdoors and make lifetime friendships. ACA accredited- your sign that a camp is well and thoughtfully run.
