SEE is a summer program designed to engage and entertain children ages 5- 17 who are on the autism spectrum or who have other special needs.
Through varied group activities including animal caring, outdoor games, and creative play, SEE promises to be a fun and fulfilling experience. We are also proud to offer individualized goal setting and progress reports, as well as on-site individualized Speech and Language Therapy, Physical Therapy, and/or Occupational Therapy sessions.
A counseling staff made up of trained behavior therapy specialists
An emphasis on social engagement and nurturing friendships
1:3 adult to child ratio
Individualized goal setting and progress reports
Physical and sports-related outdoor games, ranging from Capture the Flag to kickball to water sports
Creative classes, including arts and crafts, visual literacy and storytelling, drama games, etc.
Brain games such as puzzles and scavenger hunts
Overall positive approach to health, nutrition, exercise, and staying fit/active
We maintain a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while encouraging open play and informal learning. Our program instills confidence in your child’s natural abilities, challenges him/her to grow, and enables him/her to discover new talents. A summary of the program’s curriculum is available upon request.
Session Times
The summer program runs for seven weeks and will be broken down into one-week sessions. Sessions will run from June 25th to August 10th. Sessions start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m..
